These are running boards, not rock sliders.
The RMaxx aluminum running boards are designed to add easier cabin access to the Rivian R1T and R1S while maintaining an OEM-style appearance and minimizing added weight. The aluminum construction helps keep the system significantly lighter than comparable steel running boards and also eliminates rust concerns if the powder coating is scratched.

R1T and R1S use different-length running boards and are not interchangeable. Select the correct vehicle from the product options.
Installation Options
The running boards bolt directly to the Rivian frame. Access to the mounting points requires removing or modifying the factory lower plastic trim.
Available installation choices may include trim removal, 4-inch access holes, taped access holes, or optional aero cover plates. If the taped-hole option is selected, the jack-point opening will remain accessible for tire rotations and service.
