Description

Removing The Last Rubber Bushings For A Solid Rear End:

The OEM bushings in the Tesla knuckles can fail – not as often as the larger rear spring and camber arm joints, but do wear nonetheless. Normally, this requires a complete replacement knuckle to be purchased from Tesla, but we now offer replacement spherical bearings for all 5 locations in the knuckle.

For the ultimate in connection to the back of the car, replacing the OEM bushings with our sealed sphericals will give you a more direct connection to the road, less rear compliance, and more grip. Keep in mind, this also means there will be a slight increase in NVH as noises are transmitted from the knuckle through to the chassis.

Specific Bearings:

The particular bearings you see here are the smaller size of the two bearing sets found in the rear knuckles of the Model 3 and Model Y. These bearings are responsible for the outboard mounting of the toe arms, traction arms, and trailing arms. If you need to replace the knuckle bearings at the end of the camber arms or spring arms, you’ll want the larger bearings.
