Three Preset Damping Modes
The included KW DDC button switches among three vehicle-specific settings:
- Comfort: the softest preset for rougher roads and relaxed driving
- Sport: a firmer setting intended for highway driving and long curves
- Sport+: the most performance-oriented preset for demanding roads and frequent load changes
The button changes color to confirm the selected mode, and the dampers change settings within milliseconds.
Optional KW DDC App Control
Adding the optional DDC WLAN module enables smartphone or tablet control on compatible Apple iOS and Android devices. The app can adjust the front and rear axles independently from the maximum-comfort setting, shown as 0%, through the Sport+ setting, shown as 100%.
- Basic menu: choose Comfort, Sport, or Sport+ and assign individual settings to the Sport modes.
- Advanced menu: view and adjust damper force in real time, then transmit and save the front- and rear-axle settings to the ECU.
- Personal menu: save, rename, retrieve, and email up to five individual setups.
- Settings menu: configure the connection, app appearance, and startup-logo behavior.
