Handling benefits
Adjustable front and rear roll stiffness lets the vehicle be tuned for greater stability, reduced understeer, or more rotation depending on the selected settings. Reduced body roll helps keep the tires more consistently loaded through corners and improves transitional response.
Important rear-hardware note
Vehicles not originally equipped with a factory rear sway bar require additional Tesla hardware:
- One left rear end link — Tesla 1044491-00-E
- One right rear end link — Tesla 1044496-00-E
- Four M10-1.5 × 25 mm, grade 10.9 flange bolts
Installation
Professional installation is recommended. Final sway-bar settings should match the vehicle’s tires, suspension, alignment, and intended use.
