We placed deposits on two Rivian R2s the moment reservations opened and have been counting down ever since. From the beginning, we knew this platform had huge potential—and as soon as we finally got behind the wheel, we were all in.

But the test drive was only the start. The real curiosity began the moment we started studying the chassis, looking underneath the vehicle, and figuring out what the suspension layout could support. Our goal wasn’t efficiency or conservatism. We wanted to know one thing: what would the R2 look like at its most aggressive?

With that in mind, we started sketching wheel concepts and moved quickly into production so we could get a sample set made. The wheels arrived before our own R2 did, which could have slowed everything down—but fortunately our friend Michael from B.A.R.C. stepped in and brought his R2 over so we could do the first real-world test fit.

And the result? It worked. The math delivered exactly what we hoped for.

That first validation confirmed the look, the fitment, and the direction. You can see the setup in motion in the video below, where the R2 finally gets to show off the stance we had envisioned from day one.
