Tesla-specific Endless EX99 track-day brake pads for Model Y factory calipers. EX99 uses a semi-metallic compound with a broad temperature range, progressive release, and a relatively flat torque curve for repeatable braking on circuit.
Select the correct Model Y brakes
- Model Y Performance with red calipers, built before August 15, 2022
- Model Y Performance with red calipers, built after August 15, 2022
- Non-Performance AWD with silver calipers
Choose front, rear, or a complete front-and-rear set. The production-date split is critical for Performance fitment; verify the vehicle build date and pad shape before ordering.
EX99 specifications
- Use: track day
- Material: semi-metallic
- Proper rotor-temperature range: 50–800°C
- Average friction coefficient: 0.38–0.45
Compound characteristics
EX99 was developed as a Tesla-specific evolution of Endless CCRg. Compared with the current CCRg compound, EX99 uses a lower friction level and is designed to be easier on the rotor at lower temperatures while retaining heat resistance, modulation, and clean pedal release.
Installation and bedding
Track brake pads require compatible rotors, correct bedding, and frequent inspection. Professional installation is recommended. Confirm the desired front/rear friction balance before mixing compounds.
