KW 2021+ Ford Mustang Mach-E (eAWD) V3 Coilover Kit
For all Ford Mustang Mach-E with all-wheel drive, the KW V3 coilover suspension is now available. The relatively heavy electric car benefits from the KW coilover suspension in driving dynamics and especially in ride comfort. Even during rapid cornering, the suspension brings tranquility to the high SUV body of the Ford Mustang Mach-E (LSK).
In the KW V3 coilover suspension for the Ford Mustang Mach-E, the struts and damper housings are made of stainless steel.
The KW V3 coilover kit for the Ford Mustang Mach-E is made order-related in Germany at our KW Fahrwerkmanufaktur. The struts and damper housings are made of a durable stainless-steel. KW automotive also grants a follow-up warranty of three years when the KW coilovers were purchased and professionally installed at certified KW dealers.
Suspension manufacturer KW automotive uses its in-house vehicle dynamics test bench (7-post) to develop the KW V3 coilover suspension system for the Ford Mustang Mach-E.
For years, KW automotive has been using a so-called vehicle dynamics test rig for their coilover development. On this vertical dynamics test rig (seven post rig), KW optimizes the wheel load fluctuations, the so-called frictional connection between the road and the tires. That way, more lateral forces can be built up. The more lateral forces are controlled via the coilovers, the more the driving safety and the entire handling benefits. Basically, the suspension tuning should keep the wheel loads as constant as possible in every driving condition.
Rebound influences the the entire handling of the car and can be adjusted within 16 clicksWithin twelve clicks the lowspeed range of the compression can be manually adjusted
The KW dampers used in the KW V3 coilovers with their two-stage multi-valve technology are manually adjustable in low-speed compression and rebound. If the handling needs to be even more direct and the body structure of the Mach-E should be more closely connected to the road, the cross-section in the lowspeed rebound valve is closed with help of a small click wheel inserted in the piston rod. If, on the other hand, it is opened, the rolling comfort benefits. Rebound can be adjusted within 16 clicks. Independently of the rebound stage, the KW V3 coilover suspension also offers the option of individually adjusting the lowspeed compression stage forces. With twelve clicks, the compression of the wheels can be adjusted tighter or softer on the KW V3.
The included parts certificate allows a continuous lowering of 24 to 45 millimeters at the front axle and 20 to 40 millimeters at the rear axle
Due to the low center of gravity after installation of the KW V3 coilover suspension, the electric SUV gains further driving dynamics through the KW multi-valve technology without sacrificing residual ride comfort. Of course, the KW V3 coilover suspension for the Ford Mustang Mach-E comes with a parts certificate. The certificate covers continuous lowering of 25 to 45 millimeters at the front axle and 20 to 40 millimeters at the rear axle
